Regular Schedule

7:20 am - Car Riders may enter the building

7:25 - 7:50 am - Breakfast is served

8:00 am - School Starts (Tardy Bell)

3:05 pm - Dismissal

One Hour Delay

8:20 am - Car Riders may enter the building

8:25 - 8:50 am - Breakfast is served

9:00 am - School Starts (Tardy Bell)

3:00 pm -  Dismissal

 

Two Hour Delay

9:20 am - Car Riders may enter the building

9:25 - 9:50 am - Breakfast is served

10:00 am - School Starts (Tardy Bell)

3:05 pm - Dismissal

 

Three Hour Delay

10:20 am - Car Riders may enter the building

10:25 - 10:50 am - Breakfast is served

11:00 am - School Starts (Tardy Bell)

3:05 pm - Dismissal

 

Morning Procedures

Car rider students may be dropped off at 7:20 am. They may be dropped off throughout the length of the sidewalk in front of the school.  The students must enter through the auditorium doors.

 

Afternoon Procedures

School dismisses at 3:05 p.m. Students will load buses in an orderly manner.  

 

Car rider students will report the car rider area.  Parents waiting to pick-up students should form one line until 2:55 pm. At that time cars can move around into two lines and wait at the speed limit sign. We must keep a lane clear until 2:55 in the event of an emergency. The line is much shorter at 3:15 pm, so waiting a little longer may shorten your wait. Car rider students are called by name and grade level. During cold weather and wet days, students will wait inside.  Thank you for your cooperation!  

 

Please make every effort to keep your child in school all day.  Late arrivals and early dismissals create missed instruction and learning for your child.  It is important that he/she learns good habits of staying in school for the full day and builds a strong foundation for future educational goals.  Parents will be contacted if tardiness and early dismissal accumulates in an excessive amount.

 

Tardy Policy

School begins promptly at 8:00 am and ends at 3:05 pm  If your child is tardy to school, the student must report to the data manager before he/she may proceed to class.  

 

Early Dismissal

If there is a need to pick up your child from school early, please follow the guidelines:

1. Report to the office.
2. Someone from the office will send for your child upon your arrival. Students will not be called out of class to wait in the foyer for parents.
3. Be prepared to show identification.
4. Sign the student out of school and state the reason for the early dismissal on the form provided in the office.  This is for the safety and protection of your child should he/she need to be located at a later time.  This also ensures that children only leave school with designated persons.
5. Only the persons listed on the student’s profile form will be allowed to pick the child up so please keep this form updated.  We will not release students
6. to individuals that are not on the student’s profile form, unless we have prior written notice from a custodial parent.
7. Transportation changes are only made in an Emergency situation.  You must contact an administrator in order to make a change.  Any Emergency request will have to be sent in writing by email or fax.  “Over the phone” requests are not valid.
