Student Supply list:
- sketchbook with "mixed media" paper, 9 x 12 or smaller preferred, spiral bound is best. (see note below)
- pencils: wooden is best for shading
- eraser
If you prefer not to share materials, also bring:
- ruler
- scissors
- glue stick
- colored pencils, markers are optional
- Donations: tissues, paper towels and cheap paper plates for paint palettes.
- More notes on the sketchbook: Mixed media is better for different types of art supplies. It also smudges pencil less because it's a better quality paper. In my experience, glued sketchbooks fall apart within a few weeks. A sketchbook is different from a composition book because the paper is a little thicker and there are no lines. You can get these anywhere: grocery stores, drug stores, Wal-Mart/Target/Big Lots or art supply stores. If you have problems or cannot get supplies, please email me to let me know: [email protected].
